This site, Three Moon Brooms, represents a handcrafted broommaking practice rooted in traditional techniques and natural materials.

Each broom is made by hand with attention to balance, durability, and function. Designs are influenced by folklore, seasonal cycles, and traditional craft forms. No two brooms are identical.

Three Moon Brooms exists at the intersection of the practical and the meaningful. These are functional objects intended for use, daily presence, and long-term keeping.

From time to time, independent broom artists may contribute work that is shared through common platforms. Each artist maintains responsibility for their own materials, methods, and individual creative practice.

Where are the Brooms for Sale?

At this time, I am not offering scheduled releases. Any future releases will be announced on social media when dates are set.

What are your prices?

All of my brooms are hag-made start to finish. I dye all of my own broomcorn in small batches 🎨 and construct each broom entirely by hand.

Pricing reflects my personal materials, methods, and labor for the brooms I make.

Prices may vary depending on size, style, complexity, and available materials. Added embellishments or specialty construction may increase the final cost and can be subject to change.

How do I care for my broom?

Brooms are best stored hanging when not in use. If hanging isn't an option, flip broom upside down and stand on it's handle. (Bristles up). ThreeMoon Brooms are safe to use on all surfaces. Keep dry and store out of direct sunlight. Spin broom often while using to prevent broomcorn from sloping in one direction.

Do you have a store front? Where can I purchase?

All brooms offered here are designed and made by me and are sold online, at events, or at my shop location, haghollow.com.

Updates about availability, custom work, and any upcoming releases are shared on social media, primarily on Facebook.

Coming soon, a permanent destination broom shop is underway! You’ll be able to visit Hag Hollow in rural Galena, IL when it is ready!

Can I carry your brooms in my shop?

I’m grateful for the interest in my work. Due to the limited and hands on nature of my production process, I’m not able to offer wholesale or business accounts at this time.

Do you do any special events?

I do participate in craft fairs and in person events, with a preference for staying within the Driftless region of the northern Midwest. Please feel free to reach out for details or to inquire about my event schedule. You’re also welcome to contact me if there is an event you’d like me to consider participating in.

Do you make Custom orders?

At this present time I am no longer offering custom orders. There is no wait list for future offerings.

How do you ship your brooms?

I require signature confirmation for all full size brooms. All packages are insured.

I currently ship only within the United States using USPS. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and package dimensions. Brooms larger than 20 inches include a handling fee when shipped through USPS.

Most full size brooms can be shipped for under $40.00.

Do your brooms really fly?

I caution customers against using my brooms as modes of transportation. My brooms are intended for sweeping and for activities associated with housekeeping and ritual use only. Please refer to any applicable flight or transportation regulations in your area.

In no event shall Three Moon Brooms be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of these products.

What is Witchery?

Witchery quite simply means "the practice of magic". It is defined as compelling power exercised by beauty, eloquence, or other attractive or fascinating qualities. Magic can be created with simple intention and even through mundane tasks, like sweeping. Everything has the potential for magic if you allow it.

Do you teach classes?

At this time, I am not offering broom making classes. Because my professional work as a clinician involves teaching and guiding others throughout the day, broom making remains a quiet and grounding creative practice for me.

With the anticipated opening of Hag Hollow, my destination broom shop, I plan to offer opportunities for in person broom making retreats in the future.
